Game of a Dream…
@Fou3Fan Not just a linear fps with a tiny narrow porrly written story that you get tired off after 2 hours but a game that you can play forever with beautiful graphics and realistic destuction and physics in a universe that is cool and exciting with ships flying and people walking in and out of bars and buildings, and combat and alot of other thing where you could customise everything you own and run around in pink pants if you really wanted and shoot stormtroopers and stuff.
@Fou3Fan And fight in wars like the clone wars and see all the soldiers fight and die when ships MASSIVE ship pass over head that arent just models but actual ships with corridors and men running back and fourth doing things and it gets struck by a big missile and i explodes and it starts to crack up and broken pieces fly everywere and it hits the ground and a shockwave of air and dust knocks you down. a real universe with real events generated procedurally inside your computer.
Thumbs up if you would want a open world were you do what you want in a sandbox destructible world takin place in the star wars galaxy. Where you could fly in a starship and activate a hyperdrive and see the streaks and all. And then go to a planet, land and level half a city in a rampage with a star destroyer you stole 30min ago using your very own lightsaber. and cities filled with people so it feel alive and like a actual universe where you make your rules and do what the fuck you feel like

@CakeFullOfLies Well, the thing is that indie companies don’t give a shit about shareholders, but they want to make good games. Big name companies don’t give a shit about good games, but they do care about shareholders.
Not to mention that most big name companies are stationed in US and it’s education quality is pretty horrible.
Also nobody works at EA if they have a choice.
I mean EA is the place you look for job after being fired from a chinese sweatshop.

People are producing the cheapest products possible, spending a good chunk of their development money on mass marketing and overseas marketing, and trying to maximize profits at the cost of creativity. Sucks. Going to be at least ten years before an immersive quality medieval or sci fi mmorpg releases that doesn’t involve cheesy battlegrounds and mirrored classes to appease the kiddies.
